Few weeks ago at work, I was tasked with updating the BIOS and Vmware View Agent on out of warranty HP’s t5545 clients. The purpose was to support a newer release of VMView. The catch was being comfortable with Unix and updating packages in a certain sequence. Rather than have one more IT person squirm, I had thought pay-it-forward with this extended set of instructions after some “trial and error” and reading HP documentation. We have XenDesktop 7.1 amd use HP T620 ThinPro The Version of flash on our VDI windows 7 x64 is 14.0 and the version on TC is 11.2 The Flash redirection doesnt work I tried the steps mentioned here Created Reg keys, GPO as mentioned in support article Now when i try to Launch a video (in IE 9 ) a just shows a black window On the Director i can see Flash virtual channel is Idle and Flash redirection is showing Active. However the video never plays, not even the sound Just see the black window If i right click on the black Windows (for the video) it shows 'Movie not Loaded' And Adobe Flash player 11.2. Hi, the setting FlashPlayerVersionComparisonMask disable the client check and as you see (black windows) the content is redirected otherwise the server will show the content. So it's working and the client check is bypassed but the issue seams to be the flash player coming with the client. Problem is you client, verify that Flash Redirection is enabled in the Client config and what flash version is installed.
